Refund Policy

At WebRooted, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our services. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to our website development, mobile app development, digital marketing, and DevOps services.

1. Initial Deposit

The initial deposit (typically 50% of the project cost) is non-refundable as it covers the initial consultation, project planning, resource allocation, and preliminary work. This deposit confirms your commitment to the project and allows us to begin work.

2. Project Cancellation

If you decide to cancel a project after work has begun:

  • The initial deposit is non-refundable
  • You will be billed for all work completed up to the cancellation date
  • If the value of work completed exceeds the initial deposit, you will be invoiced for the difference
  • If the value of work completed is less than the initial deposit, the difference will not be refunded

3. Completed Projects

Once a project is completed and final deliverables have been provided, no refunds will be issued. A project is considered complete when:

  • All deliverables outlined in the project agreement have been provided
  • The client has approved the final deliverables
  • The final payment has been made and the deliverables have been released to the client

4. Domain and Hosting Services

Domain registration and hosting services included in our packages are non-refundable once activated, as these services are provided by third-party vendors and are typically non-refundable to us.

5. Digital Marketing Services

For ongoing digital marketing services:

  • Monthly service fees are non-refundable for the current month
  • Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice
  • No refunds will be issued for services already rendered
  • Ad spend with third-party platforms (Google, Facebook, etc.) is non-refundable once spent

6. Maintenance and Support Services

For prepaid maintenance and support packages:

  • No refunds will be issued for unused portions of prepaid maintenance packages
  • Unused hours or credits may be carried forward according to the terms of your specific package

7. Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, WebRooted may consider partial refunds at its sole discretion. Such circumstances might include:

  • Inability to deliver the agreed-upon services due to factors within our control
  • Significant and demonstrable failure to meet the specifications outlined in the project agreement

Any such refund will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will take into account the work completed, resources allocated, and other relevant factors.

8. Refund Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund:

  • Submit your refund request in writing to contact@webrooted.com
  • Include your project details, reason for the refund request, and any supporting information
  • We will review your request and respond within 7 business days
  • If approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method when possible
  • Refund processing may take up to 14 business days depending on the payment method

9. Changes to This Policy

WebRooted reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
